Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every order placed through chromepieces.com.au. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Who you are contracting with

Chrome Pieces Pty Ltd, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Contact: mitch@chromepieces.com.au.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Payment is taken in full at checkout and processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.

Prices are recalculated on our server at checkout from our own price list. A price displayed in error does not bind us, and we will contact you before charging anything different.

Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send you an order confirmation email, not when you complete checkout.

We may decline an order — for example where a piece is unavailable, where we cannot deliver to your address, or where we suspect fraud. If we decline after payment, you are refunded in full.

Title and risk

Title passes to you on full payment. Risk passes to you on delivery.

Liability

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our terms conflict with those rights, the Australian Consumer Law prevails.

Subject to that, our liability for any claim relating to a piece is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

Bespoke · When production starts
On confirmation of your order and finish. This is why change-of-mind cancellation closes after forty-eight hours.
Sourced · When production starts
The piece is ordered from our manufacturing partner once your payment clears.
Bespoke · Variation in the finished piece
Each piece is finished individually, so grain, reflection and tone vary slightly between pieces. This is characteristic of the process and is not a defect.
Sourced · Variation in the finished piece
Manufactured to a consistent specification. Minor variation in finish and tone between production runs is normal.
Bespoke · Country of origin
Made in Australia. Stated on the product page.
Sourced · Country of origin
Made by our manufacturing partner in the country stated on the product page. We do not describe these pieces as Australian-made.
